Over his 30-plus year career, John has built a reputation as a visionary in the world of design. His comprehensive creative direction encompasses the needs of the client, the visitor, the collection, and the architecture in seamless connection with one another. Having worked with nearly every kind of institution, he draws on a diverse catalogue of past accomplishments to provide innovative solutions that build social and cultural capital in a singular way for each of his clients. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design, his portfolio extends globally and has garnered accolades from the Art Director's Guild, the Industrial Designers Society of America, and MUSE. As longstanding CEO of the firm, he has managed over $100 million of budgetary capital and has created economic development initiatives for institutions both nationally and internationally.
