NATIONAL MUSEUM OF MARINE BIOLOGY & AQUARIUM

Kaohsiung, Taiwan

Filling Taiwan's National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium's 65,000 square feet of space with exhibits was a dream come true for exhibit designers-even with the realities of cultural differences, long distances, and language barriers. Working with a team of translators and content experts, John Carney and Larissa Hallgren-as young designers at the outset of their careers with Wetzel Associates, Inc.-developed educational multimedia pieces, large-scale interpretive graphics, live habitat exhibits, and hands-on learning labs to deliver a truly immersive, world-class museum-aquarium experience.
