THE NEW-YORK HISTORICAL SOCIETY
New York, NY
As complex as it is reprehensible, slavery is a topic in our nation's history that demands in-depth exploration. To help visitors access a deeper level of understanding, EXP provided innovative design and interactive multimedia elements that reach a broad audience with varied backgrounds for The New-York Historical Society's "Slavery in New York" exhibition. One multimedia piece, the Muse Award-winning Well, allows visitors to peer deep into this difficult reality and learn aspects of what day-to-day life was like for slave women.
